PING Fitting Day
We are hosting a PING Fitting Day on Tuesday, 27 October and we only have three spots left. Can I remind members that this experience is open to ladies, gents and juniors! Pop into the pro shop to learn more or book a fitting session with the best in the business by clicking here.
This week's course maintenance...
At the start of the week 350 tonnes (yes 350!!) of top grade sand was sprayed over the entire golf course. It looks and plays pretty bad for a short period of time but is one of the main reasons why we are rarely closed now during the winter months. There is no question year on year the drainage of the entire course has improved and therefore the course is open to play more often than not! See below the hard working team who covered the entire course in under three days...
Helping Improve Performance Workshop
When we talk to non-golfers I hear "that golf is 90% mental"... I wouldn't disagree. I'm excited to confirm the date (Thursday, 22 October at 7 pm) of a psychology workshop here at Knock Golf Club. Entrance is by ticket only which can be purchased in the pro shop from Saturday, 10 October. Top sports psychologist Cormac Venney has worked with the IRFU, PGA, GAA and is the lead psychologist for the GUI coaching panels in Ulster. I have had the pleasure of working alongside him and truely believe any player regardless of handicap and or ability will take something away that will help their performance under pressure.
We will be sure to make the night as interactive as possible. For more info pop into the pro shop or click here to give me a call.
