Centenary Cup

This week's Centenary cup was won by Ryan McCroy with a rather impressive level par 70 playing off a handicap of five giving him 41 points, he won by two points from David Fitzimmons. A special mention goes out to Richard Livingston who came third with 39 points, we had a great lesson on the Friday evening and I'm glad it helped so quickly. He will be delighted to get back to single figures. Well done Richard. Michael Sinclair picked up the gross prize with a 71 as he won on the back nine from the big hitting Andrew Gilmour and the Anno Domini was won by George Reid with 35 points (the lesson has now payed for itself George).

Team news

The semi-finals of the Senior Cup will be played on Sunday, 16 August with Knock playing Castlerock at Portstewart Golf Club. Tee off 8.30am. All support welcome!

Lady President's Day

The ladies had their Presidents' Day on Tuesday and after a rainy morning Helen Knight got her wish and the sun shone for the afternoon players. The winner with 38 points was Aileen Wilson with Rosemary Nixon in second and best gross going to Alison Sinnamon. It was a very lucrative day for Aileen as she had the only two and received 32 golf balls. Even Aileen can't lose that many between now and the end of the season! There was a huge turnout for the evening event and Lady President's prizes looked fantastic. Well done to all the prize winners!
