Important battery care information for Motocaddy

As many thousands of golfers return to the fairways this month, we wanted to provide you with some simple battery care advice to avoid performance & safety issues – especially after long periods of inactivity.

- Always recharge batteries as soon as possible after use, regardless of the number of holes played;
- Do not leave batteries uncharged for extended periods as this may reduce the potential maximum capacity;
- Ensure that only batteries supplied by Motocaddy are charged with Motocaddy chargers;
- Batteries must be stored & charged on a dry, non-carpeted surface at a temperature ranging between 10°C to 30°C;
- The charger should only be connected to an earthed socket outlet;
- The battery charger should only be opened and maintained by authorised personnel;
- Take care not to drop the battery as this may cause damage to the internal cells;
- Always check the battery for damage at regular intervals & do not charge or use the battery if any damage is found - please contact our Customer Support team for advice;
- All batteries must be disconnected from the trolley before transportation;
- Never leave batteries charging for longer than necessary - disconnect once the green LED light indicates the battery is fully charged;
- As with any electrical device, it is not recommended to leave batteries charging overnight or for prolonged periods without supervision.
