A full house
Gary Patterson will be hosting a Poker Night at the club on Friday, 2 November.
Rock up at 7.30pm for an 8:00pm start, we have invested in new Poker tables for card schools. It’s always a good fun night.

Winter League
Although the weather was horrific we managed to get the first week of the Winter League played. Here are the results from all divisions:

Woolly Hat
Last Wednesday, 17 October saw Don Wright Snr take home the spoils with 31 points over the 14 holes. He pipped runner up Seamus O’Hare on the countback. Mark Graham shot 29 points to pick up third and Julian Patterson took fourth spot with 28 points.
The twos club paid out £8.50 each and all monies has been transferred to your Pro Shop accounts.
A special mention must go to Harry McKee as he had a magnificent back to back twos. Harry made a two at the fourth and backed it up by holing his 5 wood to the fifth hole to record another two. What a great achievement, well done Harry! |
Weekend Sweep
Each weekend I will be running the ‘Weekend Sweep’ a 14-hole Stableford Competition run over Friday, Saturday and Sunday each week and is open to ladies and gents.
This week’s big winner with 32 points was Raymond Caskey. Runner up with 31 points on countback was Brian Long, he pipped third placed Mark Graham. Adam Magill took fourth place with 30 points. Michael Sinclair took the Best Gross prize with a level par total of 54.
The twos paid out £8.75 each and all monies have been transferred into your Pro Shop accounts.

Ladies 12 Hole Stableford
The winner this week with 26 points is Christine Owens, runner up and keeping her fine run of form going is Alison Sinnamon with 25 points. Third place went to Sinead Murray with 24 points. Helen Anderson and Ann Mcivor each won £22 for their twos.

Winter League start times Shown below is the new Saturday Winter League tee times starting at both the 1st and the 10th. As it’s a two tee start we cannot put the tee times onto the BRS Tee Booking System.
Can I ask if you are not playing on a Saturday can you call the shop or contact me here to take your name off the sheet, that way the time sheet can keep up to date and run more efficiently.

Junior competitions over Halloween
On Monday we have a competition starting at 11.00am and on Thursday at 11.00am. If any parents need any more information just give me call in the Pro Shop.

McVicker wins the Irish Varsity Championship
Pictured is our member James McVicker who won the Irish Varsity Golf Championship at Rosapenna Golf Club last week in tough blustery conditions. The field was very strong with a number of Irish internationals involved.
