Never give up!
I stumbled across this inspirational piece on Justin Rose and his rise to the top of the game. After turning pro, Justin Rose missed 20 cuts in a row, It took him four years to win in Europe, It took him 12 years to win in the US, It took him 15 years to win a major, And now, 20 years later, he's world number one.
Justin has shown true resillance throughtout his career and this truly shows from this. What other sport would this happen in? |

Storm Ali hits Knock
Pictured is a small snapshot of the carnage after the storms on Wednesday. We lost a number of trees and masses of large branches.
The green staff are working tirelessly to get the place playable meaning cutting has to take a back seat. There is serious amounts of debris for the boys to clear. If you are playing and your ball comes to rest near a broken tree or branch treat it as GUR and take the normal relief.

Not just for golfers
I have taken stock of the new 2018/19 base layers from FootJoy, these multi-functional garments will keep the heat in whilst making turning and playing easy. The new colour is the navy to compliment other garments in the range, pop in and have a look. Many cyclists, hockey players, runners, rugby and footballers all wear this garment also so it’s not just for golf

RTX 4 now in-store It feels like we've waited a while, but the eagerly anticipated landing of Cleveland's incredible RTX 4 wedge is finally here. Cleveland has been at the forefront of wedge design for many years and has used feedback from its tour players to make the RTX 4 wedge its best yet. It provides more spin than ever before, is more versatile than previous generations and has never felt so good off the face. |

With the Ryder Cup coming up next week, we can expect plenty of tense moments, particularly on the greens. You’ll probably notice that players on both sides will have the ability to hole out under huge amounts of pressure – who can forget Ian Poulter’s clutch putt on the 16th green at Medinah in 2012? |
Find a putter you can trust To replicate these kind of putts, whether that's in the monthly medal or playing for money with your friends, you need to choose a flatstick you can trust. Why not try out one of Scotty Cameron’s Futura putters? The current range involves several high-MOI mallets with tour-proven shapes, as well as improved alignment features and feel. Some of the best players in the world, such as Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth, have Scotty putters in the bag, so you can be sure you’ll be in good company. |
