Thank You...
I would like to thanks those members who have given me their names to be put forward to lend a hand on the golf course. If anybody would like to volunteer to help out with 'light work' to help course presentation just give me a buzz. Examples are painting seats, cleaning tee signage and some flower bed weeding.
GC Quad Arrives At Knock
I am pleased to announce I have taken delivery of the very first GC Quad launch monitor in Ireland. Pictured below is an example of the new state of the art data that this superb machine gives the user. It's the only launch monitor that gives face point data along with ball tracing etc. It has already been in use this week in the new Swing Studio both in club fittings and lessons and the results have been amazing. I can also use it for putting tuition out on our putting green by using an iPad.

The Benefits Of Golf To Your Fitness
Did you know walking 18 holes of golf is the equivalent to a 3.5 mile run or a 5 mile walk? Did you know you walk 10,000 steps in a typical round of golf and burn up to 2,000 calories? Is it time for you to dust the clubs and get back out on the course again?
Practice Pays Off...
Harry McKee (pictured below) has been in the main prizes for three weeks in a row now. Harry has been booking the swing studio for some individual practice. He has been using the technology in the swing studio to not only improve his swing, but to know his distance numbers etc. Keep the hot streak going Harry! It's good to see the hard work pay off.
