Night Golf
The best night of the year is still to come with Night Golf coming to Knock on Friday, 16 September. I have witnessed this company who arranges and sets the course up and it is all pretty impressive with the new LED lighting down each fairway. This should be a great night and week done to Gary Patterson and his entertainments committee for arranging it.

Junior Match
On Tuesday I travelled to Elm Park in Dublin for the traditional match between the juniors of each club. The match finished tied at 3-3 with Elm Park retaining the trophy. I had a very enjoyable round myself in the sun and enjoyed talking with our old Pro Seamus Greene. A big thanks to Earle Browne and his team for arranging another great day. Pictured is the picturesque putting green at Elm Park.

For those of you that use the practice net at the practice ground, I'm pleased to inform you that we now have a new top of the range mat to hit off. It will be continually maintained and will play much better than the old type.
Mizuno Fitting Day
On Monday we had Mizuno at our practice ground for a small fitting day. Pictured below is Helen Anderson testing out the latest products.
If you missed the day however and would still like to try the latest offerings from Mizuno in your own time, please click here to book a fitting session with one of our team.
2017 in the pro shop...
I was at the FootJoy show this week to do my buying from the 2017 spring/summer ranges. Once again FootJoy have come up with some great styles and designs. Their new state of the art fabrics are moisture free, not to mention you don't need to iron them... bonus! If you would like to know anymore about FootJoy clothing, pop in store and give me a shout. FootJoy cresting is in my opinion the best out there, so if anyone has any garments for work/friends/teams or societies that need any embroidery etc. again give me a buzz.
I also went to Edenmore Golf Club on Monday to watch an adidas golf fashion show. The new 2017 ranges are stunning and I'm pleased to announce I will once again be stocking this brand in the pro shop. The adidas Boost technology in the shoes look and feel amazing and the apparel is being well represented on Tour by Sergio, Jason Day, Rose and the dude that is Dustin Johnson.
New arrivals...
I'm pleased to announce I have been one of the first retail outlets to get my hands on a demo iron of the new PING iBLADE. There has been a lot written about the new arrival from PING, so why not pop in store and have a look for yourself?
